The final achievements have been updated (Project / Achievements). Additionally, under "Dissemination Activities / Public Deliverables" you can find an overview of presentations of the ultraSURFACE project at trade fairs as well as the final Communication Kit.

The video shows the first application tests for laser structuring with the developed MultiBeam optics, which were integrated into a machine tool at Unitechnologies.

Multi-beam optics is integrated and tested in Unitech's laser material processing machine. The first demonstrator components were laser structured with this machine.

At the 5th UKP Workshop (April 10-11, 2019) Oskar Hofmann from RWTH Aachen University gives a lecture “Design of Multibeam Optics for High Throughput Parallel Processing” about the multi beam optics developed and built in the ultraSURFACE project.

The 5th technical meeting of ultraSURFACE took place in October at Procter&Gamble (Kronberg im Taunus).

At the 3rd Conference on Laser Polishing LaP 2018 (September 12-13, 2018) Stephan Eifel from the company Pulsar Photonics GmbH gives a lecture “Dynamic optical system for process adapted intensity distributions” about the beam shaping optics developed and built in the ultraSURFACE project.

A lecture “Model-based analysis of highly dynamic laser beam shaping using deformable mirrors” on the possibility of adaptive beam shaping via deformable mirrors will be held at the LANE (September 3-6, 2018) by Oskar Hofman from RWTH Aachen University.
